Golf Cart Maintenance
By Buzz | April 13, 2008
Battery maintenance is critical to battery life in our
electric golf carts. When charging your cart it is a
good idea to prop open the seat so that as much air
can get to the batteries as possible. Charging causes
heat and heat has a negative effect on our cart
batteries so give them as much air as possible.

the bottom rack holding my batteries is coated with corrosion. How do I get rid of it? And, yes, it is on my garage floor & driveway.

Mary, sorry for the delay. We were out of town for a couple of weeks. Baking soda and water will take away the corrosion. Let is soak for a little while, use a stiff brush, then rinse with water.
