Weeds
By Buzz | April 22, 2008
Start putting in your plants, work the nutrients in your soil. Wet newspapers put layers around the plants overlapping as you go cover with mulch and forget about weeds. Weeds will get through some gardening plastic they will not get through wet newspapers

Timmy, I used straight vinegar but only sprayed it on the weeds. I imagine you could cut the vinegar with some water and get the same results. It would probably alter the life span (kill) of flowers. Shrubery sould be more resilient but I would avoid contact with shrubery.

I would use the vinegar exactly as you use roundup, however without diluting it with water. A 1/2 gallon of vinegar at the grocery store is about $2.50 compared to the price of roundup.
